Always find a way to chase feedback without actually letting on that this is what you are doing. Ways of doing this could be the following:
- Call the manager to confirm that the CV’s have been received as have had issues with our email server and wanted to confirm receipt of the email.
- Call the manager and explain that the candidate has called you for an update, as the candidate has a number of options but this is the preferred choice, apologise for chasing but that you just need to give the candidate an estimate on timeframes.
